Signal conditioning is realised via a measurement amplifier board integrated in the sensor. The measuring amplifier is encased in the sensor, providing it with permanent protection. The following output variants are available: analog current and voltage signals, switching outputs or an RS485 interface. Optionally, customers can adjust the zero point and gain via an I²C interface.
Our configurable measuring amplifiers are ideal for universal signal processing of strain gauge strain, weight and force sensors. Their advantage is that the zero point, tare and gain can be re-taught on site after the sensor has been installed (teach function). This allows you to utilise the maximum possible output signal in your application.
The measuring amplifiers are available in two versions:
Pure circuit board type MV8.0 – This variant can be installed directly in our sensors and provides a compact and efficient solution.
External housing type MV8.1 – This version can be connected to a variety of sensors and offers flexible application options.
As an alternative to encapsulation with the sensor, the board in the case of this measurement amplifier is installed in an external housing. The standardised current output signal is 4 – 20mA. Other signal levels are also possible on request. The zero point and gain can be adjusted via potentiometers accessible to customers.
This system offers the option for wireless transmission of measurement data from strain gauge sensors. The modules involved are a radio transmitter connected by cable to the sensor and a radio receiver. The standardised current output signal of the receiver is 4 – 20mA. Other signal levels are also possible on request.
This system offers the option for wireless transmission of measurement data from strain gauge sensors. It consists of a radio transmitter connected by cable to the sensor and a USB radio receiver. The receiver is directly connected to a PC. Evaluation of measurement data is realised with software specially developed by us. They enable the graphic depiction of measurement data and archiving of data in Excel.
